Students of the Chinese Shaolin Centers of Atlanta and Highland Martial Arts conducted testing to the ranks of Probationary Black Sash, 1st Brown Belt, 1st Brown Sash, 2nd Brown Belt & 2nd Brown Sash.  The test were conducted by Master Reid at Highland Martial Arts on Friday May 10, 2013.

The students did a fine job and we are pleased to announce the following promotions.

The Chinese Shaolin Center was pleased to be able to be a part of "Chicks Fight Back "2013! Teamed with Ackerman Security, WSB Radio and Kiss 104.1FM we were able to work with more than 200 ladies and share information regarding awareness, preparedness and basic self defense skills that may one day save the life of one of our attendees.

Master Diana Rixom once again did a magnificent job conducting the workshop and the Chinese Shaolin Center would also like to thank Sifu Khalfani Yabuku of Triple "F Training for sharing his tactical knowledge and his perspective from many years of law enforcement. This was an extra added bonus for everyone in attendance.

Chicks Fight Back is a great event and one the Chinese Shaolin Center is proud to be a part of!

Master Diana Rixom Share Important Information at Chicks Fight Back 2013!

On Wednesday April 3, 2012 Guru Bahati Mershant and Guru Phillip Ghee paid a visit to the CSC-Marietta Black Belt class and showed how his art utilizes its Shaolin principality.  Everyone learned something, had some fun also gained a bit of knowledge!  Guru Bahati will be teaching at 3:00pm this Sunday April 7, 2013.  He also has a special guest coming in to show off a few of his specialties and impart some knowledge.  Cost for Sunday's class is $25 and the public is invited!

I am very happy with the turn out and ethusiam that I saw from our Atllanta students throughout all three festivals.  We started the morning working through a ground locking set.  Next we examined the movements and application possiblities of Tai Ch 24 and then we finsihed the day with me teaching the Shaolin Leopard form.  It felt great to teach material that the students of the Atlanta found exceptionally helpful!
