Sifu Augie began martial arts in the summer of 1996 and now holds the rank of 4th black belt and 3rd black sash. Agustin grew up in some tough parts of Atlanta and Miami, and for the past six years has been traveling through South America. He had a need to know self-defense techniques that could keep him sharp and alert through his travels.

Now back in Atlanta with his wife and baby girl, he has different goals and strongly feels that one can still apply these ancient arts to many different aspects of life, not just self-defense. He is enthusiastic about sharing this age-old wisdom and supporting a sense of community within the school and its members.
